Kristina Davcheva

Kristina Davcheva is a speech therapist at the Center for Special Educational Support “P.R. Slaveykov” in Pleven. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Therapy from Southwest University “Neofit Rilski” in Blagoevgrad and a Master’s degree in Special Education with a specialization in Auditory-Verbal Rehabilitation from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.” She is a member of the National AAC Team.

Since 2016, she has been working as a speech therapist with children with multiple disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other conditions. She applies various methods in her work, including group therapy with the participation of another specialist and individual therapy sessions with a child. In her practice, she uses assistive technology for eye-gaze computer control with children and students with multiple disabilities.
