prof. Kerstin Tönsing

Kerstin Tönsing is a speech-language therapist and professor at the Centre for Augmentative and Alternative Communication, University of Pretoria, South Africa. She has conducted research and training in the field of AAC for over 20 years. Her research focuses on the design and implementation of AAC systems to foster communication and language skills in persons with communication access needs, with a particular focus on persons who are not literate.
