Rositsa Zlateva Shaikova is a teacher of deaf education, defectologist.
She worked for 13 years in a school for children with hearing impairments.
Since 2019, she has been part of the team at the Regional Center for Support of Inclusive Education in the Targovishte region, working with children with special educational needs.
She participates in training programs by the “ASSIST- Assistive Technologies” Foundation, where she embraces the idea of the power of AAC.
She enthusiastically participates in UNICEF Bulgaria’s “A Voice for Every Child” project and created a children’s book with symbols, The Story of Sami, the Impatient Little Elephant, to help more non-verbal children learn and communicate fully with their peers.
